Migration to the world's largest and most trusted content delivery network to ensure the best possible streaming experience for our viewers?

Check, check, check.

The consumption of live broadcasts from StreamSpot customers continues to skyrocket, a true testament to our customers' quality content and ability to share that quality content in the right channels for their viewers. Our team is constantly updating our equipment offerings, making enhancements to our customer portal, and providing top-notch support around the clock. But, at the end of the day, our platform is only as successful as the content delivery network (CDN) with whom we choose to work. That's why StreamSpot is excited to announce the selection of Akamai Technologies, the world’s largest and most trusted cloud delivery platformas a primary CDN for our customers around the globe.

Akamai’s vast network of over 230,000 servers in over 130 countries will help provide instant benefits to StreamSpot’s broadcasters through seamless, HD-quality, live-video delivery to viewers from the nearest point-of-presence (POP).  For its live streaming platform, StreamSpot is using Akamai’s Media Services Live (MSL) solution for live video delivery and Adaptive Media Delivery (AMD) product for adaptive bitrate (ABR) streaming optimized for varying network types and connection speeds.

While this is an exciting announcement to you, our dev teams here at StreamSpot have been in-the-know on this for some time now, working tirelessly to ensure the migration went smoothly and flawlessly. We're happy to announce that the migration is complete, and customers and viewers alike are already noticing the benefits of the enhancements.

Akamai’s robust network of servers around the world is the perfect solution to ensure the best possible streaming experience for our viewers, and we're thrilled to work with the team at Akamai Technologies!
